The Sexual Harassment Prevention Cell has been constituted in accordance with the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. The institution is committed to ensuring a safe, secure, and respectful academic and working environment for all students and staff members.
The Cell addresses complaints related to any unwelcome physical, verbal, or non-verbal conduct of a sexual nature that may affect the dignity, safety, or well-being of an individual within the campus.
Complaint Procedure
An aggrieved individual may submit a written complaint to the institution within the time frame prescribed under the Act. Upon receipt of the complaint, the matter is examined through a fair, impartial, and time-bound inquiry process.
Confidentiality and Action
All proceedings are conducted with strict confidentiality. Based on the findings of the inquiry, appropriate recommendations are made to the management for necessary action in accordance with statutory provisions and institutional rules.
